The entrance porch has a storage bench seat and a door leading to the internal hall. The hall has the stairs to the upper floor and leads into the Dining area with a wood burning stove, a dresser and telephone. The Sitting room has an open fireplace, TV, DVD player, and a Hi-Fi system. The cottage benefits from free superfast broadband with Wi-Fi. The Kitchen is well equipped, and has an electric fan oven, a gas hob, microwave oven, a dishwasher, fridge and separate freezer. The Utility room has a washer/dryer and a 'Sheila Maid' clothes-airer. The outer back door leads to the garden.

Bedroom 1 is a twin bedded room with airing cupboard. Bedroom 2 is a double- bedded room. Both rooms have a double wardrobe and a chest of drawers. The Bathroom has a bath with an electric shower, a washbasin and WC.

The hillside garden extends to ¾ acre and is planted with mature shrubs. There are interconnecting pathways leading to a small wood where red squirrels are sometime seen. There is space and furniture for outside dining. There is a double parking space with an adjacent lockable shed.

The cottage has full oil fired central heating. Heating and electricity are included in the rental cost. Bed linen and towels are provided. Please note that we do not allow smoking or accommodate pets in the cottage.
